Deacon and Deaconess
The goal of the Deacon and Deaconess ministry is to aid and assist all of the members of the church. When the first deacons were appointed in the Book of Acts, their job was to aid the Apostles with caring for the widows and children. The role is expanded now! Not only do the deacons and deaconesses aid the widows and children they also aid the entire church. If there is something that needs to be done, they are to make sure the task is complete.

Mission Ministry
The goal of the Mission Ministry is to minister to all both locally and globally. To aid those who are sick and distressed.
Our Mission Ministry is lead by Sister Gloria Mathis. She is a diligent leader who only accepts the best out of everyone.

In-Reach/Out Reach
At Summerville we believe that we should not only reach out to the unsaved, but reach out to our lost members as well. If you are a member of Summerville and you want to come back home please let us know. If you need a church home, please come and visit Summerville.

Brotherhood
The purpose of the Brotherhood ministry is to band together as a group of men and enjoy the Spirit of God. We assist the church in everyway we can.

Choir
The choir ministry is to minister to others through song. Not only do we sing, but we learn the meaning behind the songs we are singing. We have a Youth Choir, Senior Choir and a Gospel Choir.

Hospitality
The Hospitality Ministry is there to aid make sure everyone is welcomed and at home when they come to Summerville. We receive the guest Pastor and their church when they visit Summerville. We make sure that all of the visitors and members are as comfortable as possible.

Trustee Ministry
The Trustee Ministry is to make sure the physical part of the church is intact. We do more than just count the funds at then end of the day. We make sure that the church is in top condition.

Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry is nothing less than pure fun in the name of the Lord. We learn about Jesus and have fun doing it! We learn all
66 books in the Bible, miracles of Jesus, history of blacks in the Bible and so, so, so much more. Every first Sunday of the month we lead church service.
We do it all! Usherá We do it! Sing á We do it! Prayer á We do it!
Wanna have fun! Come and Join. We go and fellowship together every month. Skating, jumping beans, bowling, Carowinds we want it all and we are doing it with Jesus. Who said Church can't be fun!
